Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958 under very poor conditions. Her father sold automobiles and her mother was a teacher at school and was an unreliable actress. Jennifer was the youngest of the four children in her family was often with her mom to performances in the theater and was much impressed by her. Jennifer's divorce came about at the age of five. Jennifer was a part of her young life in British Columbia after her mom relocated there with four other children. Jennifer did not have an excellent education, despite being a gifted young person. As a child Jennifer often became targeted by bullies at Canadian schools. As her interest in theatre began to fade in high school she started participating in plays together with her mom. The mother of her children encouraged the entire family to become passionate about art. Immediately after that she started acting.
